Prince

D, ED, CI: Wojtek Doroszuk
COD 2014, OS, 20‘

Leather loafers, white socks, glittering polyester suit and a relaxed walk: The crowd are surprised and join in – as if in a music video by the King of Pop. Every day Prince Ntsiete transforms himself into his idol Michael Jackson and puts on his performance as he walks through Brazzaville. We follow him from his home in the slums through residential areas, markets and busy main roads down to the riverside. The finale: a dance show to the music of freedom fighter Franklin Bukaka. A visual and auditory adventure with an everyday urban prince.
