Christmas then and now. The bourgeois idyll of times long ago, tinkling bells under the Christmas tree, captured with an 8mm home movie camera – now rediscovered and set against the original soundtrack of an online video course in creative nail design for Christmas, using ‘Color Victim’, a particularly long-lasting nail polish..

Michael Schwarz, born in Nuremberg in 1979 and worked as assistant director und script supervisor, among others for Bavaria Film and ZDF. This was followed from 2002 by studies at the Institute for Film and Theatre Studies at the University of Mainz and in the film class of the Mainz Academy of Arts. He gained his diploma in 2011 and attended Professor Harald Schleicher’s master class until 2012. In the same year he founded, with Alexander Griesser, the company “nachtschwärmerfilm” and began working freelance as a director, author and producer.
